As with Volume 13 of "La Ola Inglesa", this album was a compilation from the UK series and carries the Hallmark logos on the back of the sleeve. (It was, however, actually on the Diana label.) It seems possible that this LP followed Volume 13 directly, so far as Top of the Pops is concerned, although what filled the space called Volume 14 is unknown.
The fact is, Volume 13 was compiled from UK albums 9 to 12, whereas this latest installment is drawn from UK albums 11 to 15 - so there is no gap in terms of song vintage. Moreover, the back cover shows some other releases of interest - a recent edition of "Onda Pop" and volume 13 of "La Ola Inglesa" - but where volume 14 might have sat is an image of what appears to be some other, unrelated LP cover. Sadly the image is too low in resolution to be sure what it is.
It will be noted that this LP has 13 tracks ("13 exitos 13"). Supplementing the usual 12 is "Sorry Suzanne" which dates as far back as volume 4! It must have been popular in Mexico at the time. We give the song titles above in both Spanish and English, as per the record sleeve.
