This New Zealand-made compilation was released on Hallmark, catalogue
number SHM 545, although there is ambiguity over New Zealand labels
since the main issuer, Maestro, tended to leave the Pickwick/Hallmark
logos intact on the covers, which is misleading.
The contents are of course exactly as described in the title. The album is a blatant cash-in on the glam rock craze and of the 15 tracks, five are from Sweet, seven from T Rex and three from Slade.
Given the contents, it must have been released after UK Volume 29 (which supplied the lead-off track) so in terms of date, it is around the start of 1973 (or possibly a little later). Curiously, as each side progresses the tracks go back in time.
