Good news pop fans - we've done it again - we've taken today's hottest hits and put them together on one fantastic L.P.! The latest, the greatest - the favourites that will really blow your mind! You voted them into the charts and now we bring them to you in this super sound bonanza. So sing along and swing along with Top of the Pops. A great pop treat, we're sure you'll agree. |
Comments: The last time Beverley Pilkington would grace the cover of a Top of the Pops album, the Big D nuts girl revived the theme on Volume 53 with a stars-and-stripes get up which prompted Hallmark’s artists to also reproduce the starry border around the song titles.
This LP came at a sad time for pop, with the untimely loss of Elvis Presley, who died on 16 August 1977. As it happened, Elvis was unknowingly commemorated here with his last major hit “Way Down”.
