Sleeve notes:

TOP OF THE POPS

AN INSTANT CURE FOR WINTER BLUES

This patent remedy is an instant cure for the cold, dreary winter months. Taken daily, its magical qualities will make very day a sunny day and every night a party night.

Dispensed by Dr Pickwick

CONTENTS:

12 Smash Hits straight from the charts, the fabulous Top of the Poppers and countless hours of listening pleasure.

Comments: This LP constituted the end of an era as "Top of the Pops" as we knew and loved it ceased to be. This album would be the last one recorded in-house and produced by Bruce Baxter. From here on, the material on these records would be recorded elsewhere and bought in.

And the cover marked the end of another era as we bid farewell to Susy Shaw with her seventh and final Top of the Pops cover.
