France Volume 3
("Top of the Pops No. 2") (LP 174)
An edition of volume 3 emerged in France in 1969, under the name "No. 2" (which, incidentally, is only given on the label). jle
designed their own cover here, featuring a photo by Michel Laguens, whose
name crops up repeatedly with budget LPs. They retained the Top of the
Pops typeface on the cover, but redesigned the logo somewhat.
Note, on the front, the Hallmark badge with UK catalogue number - Hallmark are mentioned nowhere else!
The tracks are sequenced as per the UK album but interestingly, there is one very small tweak: "The Good, The Bad ET The Ugly". Et is French for and!
Thanks to Andrew Shutt for alerting us to this release.
