Inner sleeves
There are two versions of the Pickwick company inner sleeve, which seem to have been in use close to one another.
Version 1
The 'back' side (right) includes adverts in the right-hand column for Motortown Hits and Best of Top of the Pops 1970, as well as the related album, Revived 45s. We believe this inner sleeve was in use from early 1971.
Version 2
This inner sleeve probably came into use in early 1972. It has much in common with the first version, but some of the LPs have been swapped. On the 'front', Top of the Tots now appears in the bottom row. On the 'back' all the previous Top of the Pops LPs are gone but we now have Love Story (which contains three Top of the Pops recordings) and Sing & Play The Beatles.
Plain sleeves
We know for a fact that later on, this plain white sleeve was in use. There is nothing printed on it, except on the back,
